Diabolical Gets Its First Bloody Teaser


‘The Boys Presents: Diabolical’ gets its first teaser drop in the form of a commercial for the fictional  Vought-A-Burger. From seeing different renderings of Homelander making out with different versions of himself to watching a customer get crushed by a giant to-go box in a gruesome death scene, the teaser seems to promise all of the irreverent humor that has been a feature of ‘The Boys.’
Prime Video said in a press release, “The fun-size episodes, running 12-14 minutes and each with its own animation style, will reveal unseen stories within The Boys universe, dreamt up by some of the most creative and bloody brilliant minds in entertainment today, including Awkwafina, Garth Ennis, Eliot Glazer and Ilana Glazer, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, Simon Racioppa, Justin Roiland and Ben Bayouth, Andy Samberg, and Aisha Tyler. “

“Expanding the universe of The Boys has been an amazing journey. Fans will get all-new stories, with all the fun and outrageous humor of The Boys that they know and love—plus some great surprises,” Head of television at Amazon Studios Vernon Sanders said in a previous DRezzed report. “Eric, Seth, and Evan have assembled incredible talent to bring Diabolical to life, and we can’t wait for our Prime Video customers to see this new, wild ride.”
The show has a long list of cast members including Awkwafina, Michael Cera, Don Cheadle, Chace Crawford, Kieran Culkin, Giancarlo Esposito, Eliot Glazer, Jason Isaacs, Kumail Nanjiani, Justin Roiland, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg, Ben Schwartz, Elisabeth Shue, Christian Slater, Kevin Smith, Antony Starr, Nasim Pedrad, Simon Pegg, Kenan Thompson, Aisha Tyler, and Youn Yuh Jung.
It is set to be released on March 4, 2022, via the Amazon streaming service Prime Video 
‘The Boys’ is based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It was developed for streaming service by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke.
