Iron Studios’ Power Rangers Statues Join To Form A Mega-Diorama!

We’ve been seeing a lot of classic Power Rangers merch showing up recently. By classic, I mean the Saban production we got here in the States. It came out during a time in my teens where I had lost interest in Saturday morning shows, but even I knew the toys would be big business.
When we saw the original figures appear in Toys R Us, we scooped up a few and resold them at the local flea market at a nice profit. Ah, capitalism! If I’d know just how massive the whole Power Rangers thing would become in the next couple of decades, I would have invested even more money in the merchandise.
What started as $10 action figures has evolved into $100+ collectibles, as we see with the recent announcement from Iron Studios. In addition, the company will be releasing a series of statues based on Saban’s initial Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series.
The 1/10th scale statues include:

  • Zordon
  • White Ranger
  • Red Ranger
  • Green Ranger
  • Blue Ranger
  • Pink Ranger
  • Yellow Ranger
  • Green Ranger

Nope, there’s no Alpha … yet. But, even without the manic robot, this is a cool set. By buying all eight statues, they join together to form a massive diorama. Check out the pics below.
