Happy Halloween from Silver Shamrock! Are you ready for the big giveaway? Make sure you have your masks, candy, television, and this new trio of Trick-Or-Treaters from Mezco!
These shouldn’t be confused with the Halloween III: Season of the Witch trio that NECA released not too long ago. Mezco’s Silver Shamrock kids are each 10″ tall and have five points of articulation. Unlike the previous figures, these kids don’t come with alternate melty heads. They do, however, feature some creepy eyes set far back into the masks. Ughhh…
Happy happy Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, happy happy Halloween…Silver Shamrock!
Based on their appearance in Halloween III: Season of the Witch, this boxed set features the three trick-or-treaters seen in the film – the witch, the skeleton, and the jack-o-lantern. Each trick-or-treater features an all-new head sculpt of their respective Silver Shamrock mask, and each comes with a trick-or-treat bag that they can hold in their right hand.
Each trick-or-treater stands 10” tall and feature 5 points of articulation. They are packaged together in a window box, perfect for display.
Don’t miss it, and don’t forget to wear your mask…
Halloween III: Season of the Witch is the best film in the franchise. It stars Tom Atkins for cryin’ out loud! The story departed from the slasher tropes and gave us a mixed bag of horror and science fiction. Unfortunately, it also ended on one of the eeriest cliffhangers, with the audience not knowing the fate of all the kids of the world who, for whatever reason, decided that these three masks were the only things they wanted to wear this Samhain.
While the ending of Halloween III leaves us in suspense, the novelization doesn’t spare us the fate of the children. Even little Buddy’s death is more graphic and gross in the book. If you can find a copy of it, give it a read. Unlike the standard adaptations, the novel tells us the story from Dr. Dan Challis’s point of view.
What do you think of these little doom Trick-or-Treaters? Let us know in the comments.
