Metal Slug’s Marco and Tarma Get Awesome Looking Action Figures

Tunshi Studio has been working on figures based on Metal Slug 3 for years, and they’re finally on the way! Today we saw that Marco, Tarma, and two rebel soldiers were finally made public.
The figures popped up over at Big Bad Toy Store. These guys are a bit on the pricier side, ranging in price between $119 to $189, but look at all that detail! Each figure comes with soft goods clothing, multiple weapons, heads, hands, and accessories. All five should be arriving during the second quarter of 2022.
Judging by the joints, these guys should be capable of pulling off nearly every pose we’ve seen in the long-running game franchise. If Tunshi Studio keeps making these, I hope we get fat Marco or at least zombie Marco. Oh, and I’m sure the original Metal Slug will be great looking, if not an expensive bit of tat.

After a year in development, Tunshi Studio is proud to present the 1/12 scale Metal Slug 3 FIGURES. ThESE figure haVE multi-joint action body specifically designed to recreate the shape from the game. The stylized cartoon head carvings, finely crafted clothes, and abundant accessories make the characters vivid and you can make various poses of action figures in Metal Slug 3. The small-scale action figureS launched by Tunshi Studio strictly abides by the size of 1/12th scale. Tunshi Studio will bring the players back to the classic scene of the game with a series of products developed in the future insisting on the concept of the original shape and saluting to the classics.

I’m digging how well the artists captured the artistic style of the character portraits that showed up in Metal Slug 2. There’s so much to explore with this franchise that I’m surprised that it hasn’t already been mined by other companies like Super7.
