NECA’s The Last Ronin Figure Is A Shirtless Ninja Turtle

NECA

The tragic tale of the remaining Ninja Turtle in the IDW comic The Last Ronin has seen a massive uptick in merchandise lately. We’ve recently covered a new Playmates figure and this fantastic statue. NECA is entering the mix with an almost light-hearted look at the survivor.
We’re looking at the “unarmored” Turtle as he appears in the IDW comic book. The armored version is fantastic, but I find this one way more amusing as a display piece. The dude wants to sit down away from the battle with his chubby robo-dog and relax. However, he’s still packed with many weapons and accessories and not one slice of pizza in sight.
The Last Ronin stands at 7″ tall. As a result, he is pricier than NECA’s other Ninja Turtle action figures. He will run you close to $35 to $40 on sites like the Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth. The same goes for the armored version of the character.

In a future NYC far different than the one we know today, a lone surviving Turtle goes on a seemingly hopeless mission to obtain justice for his fallen family and friends. This unarmored version of The Last Ronin action figure is authentic to the comic book depiction and stands in 7” scale.

The Last Ronin comes with the following:

  • Mouser
  • Tonfa
  • Ninja star
  • Throwing knives
  • Splinter’s journal
  • Nunchucks
  • Broken sword
  • Interchangeable head and hands.
  • Collector-friendly window box packaging with opening flap featuring a custom illustration

I wonder which other characters from the comic book will show up in the NECA line. The company has covered many of the most famous people, mutants, and aliens from the movies and 1987 cartoon. So who do you want to show up from the Last Ronin story? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
