New Arcade1UP Mortal Kombat, Pacmania, and Centipede Cabs Incoming

Arcade1UP cabinets are still going strong, even though the prices are getting out of hand. $600+ for TMNT? Really? Come on! I digress.
The company has announced three new cabinets, including one based on the original and most iconic Mortal Kombat game. Relive all that excitement of watching adults getting their panties in a bunch over pixelated violence and gore!
Unlike the previous MKII cabinet, this one comes with WiFi online play. Other features include a lighted marquee, molded coin door, and the inclusion of a bunch of classic Midway games, including:

  • Mortal Kombat
  • Mortal Kombat II
  • Mortal Kombat 3
  • Ultimate MK 3
  • Toobin
  • Rampage
  • Joust
  • Wizard Of Woz
  • Gauntlet
  • Rootbeer Tapper
  • Defender
  • Bubbles
  • Paperboy
  • Klax

What would a new batch of cabinets be without another Pac-Man? This time Pacmania is the center of attention. This version of the dot-munching yellow puck is presented in an isometric view, and now Pac-Man can jump! Honestly, it’s a fun game.
Like with previous Pac-Man cabinets, Aracde1UP includes many other Namco games to go along with it. The cab also includes WiFi leaderboards and a light-up marquee.
You’ll get the following Namco titles:

  • Pac-Mania
  • Pac-Man
  • Pac & Pal
  • Super Pac-Man
  • Pac-Man Plus
  • Pac-Land
  • Galaga
  • Galaxian
  • Galaga88
  • Mappy
  • Dig Dug
  • Dig Dug II
  • Rompers
  • Rolling Thunder

Way back when Arcade1UP first started to hit the scene, the Atari Legacy collection was the cabinet many of us first saw in stores like Walmart. Rather than reissuing the old cabinet, the company has made a few changes, including WiFi leaderboards, a light-up marquee, and a faux coin door.
From personal experience modding these cabinets, I’d suggest swapping out the spinner knob for a higher-end one. It’s a simple fix. The same can be said for the buttons, too.
The Atari Legacy cab comes with the following games:

  • Centipede
  • Millipede
  • Asteroids
  • Asteroids Deluxe
  • Major Havoc
  • Missile Command
  • Akka Arrh
  • Crystal Castles
  • Tempest
  • Gravitar
  • Liberator
  • Space Duel (1 Player)
  • Super Breakout
  • Lunar Lander
