New Wave Toys is moving on to the next Replicade system after Dragon’s Lair. Now they’re tackling the swearing orange ball with the snorkel nose, Q*Bert.
Unlike previous releases, Q*Bert will come in two distinct cabinets. One is the original we all know; the other is a replica of the prototype cabinet made by Q*Bert’s creator Warren Davis.
Both cabinets will feature the original ROM and the unreleased version of the game, which is faster and harder.

I’ve owned a few Replicade machines. They’re awesome display pieces and are a step above what Arcade1up offers. Why? Because these machines run the original Roms. They also have an amazing amount of detail, from vent grills to the buttons. Well worth the money, but the controls might be a bit tough on your fingers.
