As they were seen in Fox’s X-Men: The Animated Series, two new characters are joining Diamond Select’s line of busts. We’ve got two mutants with the best eyebrows this time around: Professor Charles Xavier ($69.99) and Sabertooth (Victor Creed) ($89.99).
The busts are painted to match the animated cels that lept to life in 1992. Sabertooth’s statue sits at 9.7″ tall, while Professor X is slightly smaller coming in at 9.2″ tall. Charles is 1:7 scale, but Victor is set at 1:6.

I remember the only way you could first get a Professor X action figure in the Toy Biz line was to buy this double-decker display chase. The set was called the X-MEN Mutant Hall of Fame. It came with a bunch of X-MEN characters that had already been released, except for Charles.

The catch? All of the figures had their joints superglued. Toy Biz wanted your money, but they knew how to screw you over. At this time, some of the toys were hard to come by. I think Iceman was the scarce one at that point.
I broke each figure loose and then realized the superglue had melted the joints, rendering them frozen in idiotic stances, except for Charles. He didn’t need to articulate. He was in his fancy hover-toilet.
