‘Ingress: The Animation’ is an anime that is based on the augmented reality video game from Niantic. The television show is produced by the Japanese animation studio Craftar. It was streamed to Netflix in 2019 before Sentai Filmworks announced that they acquired the rights for a home release with the same English voice cast from the streaming service.
The cast includes Kyle McCarley (Disgaea 5) as Makoto, Michelle Ruff (Lupin the Third) as Sarah, Crispin Freeman (Fate/Zero) as Jack, Mark Whitten (The Seven Deadly Sins) as Liu, Jalen K. Cassell (Record of Ragnarok) as Brandt, Christopher Corey Smith (Gungrave) as Hank, Todd Haberkorn (Fairy Tail) as Zion, John DeMita (Naruto) as Furuta, Cristina Vee (Samurai Champloo) as Ai Kizuna, Ray Chase (One Piece) as Antoine Smith, and Laura Bailey as the Narrator. Ezra Weisz serves as ADR Director.
The blu-ray is available for pre-purchase with a release date of March 29, 2022.
