WB Drops Trailer for ‘Harley Quinn’ Season 3

Warner Media has dropped an official for the third season of the adult animation series ‘Harley Quinn.’ The show was developed by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey and offers a satirical look at the comic book character created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, who wrote her into ‘Batman: The Animated Series.’
In a press release, Warner Media described the plot as follows, “The mayhem and madness continue in season three of this biting and uproarious adult animated comedy series. Wrapping up their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour,” Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) return to Gotham as the new power couple of DC villainy. Along with their ragtag crew – King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), Frank the Plant (JB Smoove) – “Harlivy” strives to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy’s long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise.”
The first three episodes will premier on HBO Max on Thursday, June 28th, 2022.

The show stars Kaley Cuoco (Harley Quinn), Lake Bell (Poison Ivy), Ron Funches (King Shark), JB Smoove (Frank the Plant), Alan Tudyk (Clayface/The Joker), Matt Oberg (Kite Man), Christopher Meloni (Commissioner Gordon), Andy Daly (Two-Face), Diedrich Bader (Batman/Bruce Wayne), James Adomian (Bane), Sanaa Lathan (Selina Kyle), Briana Cuoco (Batgirl/Barbara Gordon), and Harvey Guillen (Nightwing). Cuoco also serves as an executive producer for the series.
Harley Quinn made her first appearance in a 1992 episode of ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ titled “Joker’s Favor” where she was voiced by Arleen Sorkin. Since that first appearance, she has become a fan-favorite character. Originally used as a foil for Batman villain Joker, she has grown into her own and has also had relationships with Nightwing and Poison Ivy. She made her live-action debut in the 2016 DCEU film ‘Suicide Squad’ where she was played by Margot Robbie.
